On-Call Clinician

The On-Call Clinician is primarily responsible for providing individual, family and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents and families at Family Service & Guidance Center. The Clinician works closely with the client, family, teachers, school professionals and treatment team to identify treatment goals, objectives and discharge criteria. The Clinician may facilitate crisis intervention sessions for children in immediate crisis that could have intensive emotional and/or behavioral symptoms. These sessions will focus on safety planning and keeping the youth in the least restrictive environment. However, crisis clinicians will facilitate hospital and CRP admissions when appropriate during these sessions.

Mental Health Specialist

This position provides direct service in a group setting for children who meet the criteria for severe emotional disturbance (SED) and who are struggling in their academic, educational, social and home settings.The Mental Health Specialist (MHS) works collaboratively with the client, family, school and treatment team to identify treatment goals and objectives; to plan and implement effective treatment; to teach and facilitate the use of healthy social skills, communication, and emotional identification; and to tailor quality care for each child's unique emotional and social development. MHS staff utilize a variety of treatment interventions to enhance each child's progress.

Prescriber

The APRN provides advanced nursing services to emotionally disturbed children/youth. Advanced nursing services include, but are not limited to: pharmacotherapy pursuant to written protocol, diagnostic interviews and consultation assessments, and select individual therapy cases--with consent of the Nurse Supervisor. The APRN will also provide concise, but thorough documentation of all interactions with clients, or interactions with other providers on the client’s behalf.

CPST

The CPST provides goal directed supports and solution focused interventions intended to achieve identified goals or objectives as set forth in the client's individual treatment plan. CPST is a face-to-face intervention with the client present; however, family or other collaterals may be involved. The majority of CPST contacts must occur in community locations where the person lives, works, attends schools, and/or socializes.

Happy Bear Performer

Happy Bear providers must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Reliable transportation is essential to complete job duties. Happy Bear Providers must have sufficient ambulatory capabilities to work with children/youth in community-based settings, primarily schools. This position requires the physical ability to be in the Happy Bear costume, give and receive hugs from children or high fives if they prefer. Happy Bear Providers must be able and willing to adjust work schedules to meet the Happy Bear Program schedule. The program typically runs two days per week.

This position will provide support related to process & procedure, EMR training, process help desk, and documentation as directed by the EHR Support Team Manager.

Program Supervisor

The Attendant/Respite Care Supervisor is responsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels for the number of clients referred to attendant care/respite care and Crisis Resolution Program. Admissions Specialist

The Admission Specialist receives initial requests for services. Conducting a brief interview to determine appropriateness of request, the Admission Specialist coordinates access to Agency services, including scheduling, insurance benefit checks, and efficient documentation, along with associated administrative and clerical support functions. The client and family meet with the Admission Specialist at the initial appointment to register and finalize financial information. The Admission Specialist is a member of the Administrative Support Team (AST) and provides support and services to the AST, as needed.

School Based Case Manager
